Miss VA was born on March 7, 1985 in Omaha, Ne. Life experiences and challenges created an elevated outlet. Music. The composition of words and the delivery behind it has always been a fascination. Lyricism inspired by truth is the foundation of Miss VA.

The challenges of following the path of music has not only sparked an uproar for "game change" but evolution behind production and presentation. Stagnation is not an option. Growth is the key. Tribulations build the armor. 

As an independent female artist and learning the  industry through experience, many things came to light. A shift in workflow. Challenges building a brand and exposing a craft happen quite often because of how heavily saturated the music industry is. Only unity can build a community and Omaha has a vast community of "dope" independent artists and musicians. Reaching out to the many artists in Omaha birthed "FloFriday," an independent artists showcase to anyone wanting an opportunity to perform their music. Following the “FloFriday” series came the “Artist Showcase Showdown,” an artist development showcase combining different innovations to support the artist with tools for the industry.

The grind behind it all is motivation to keep going and go harder when they doubt and or try to stop you. Stay true to you in the end and lend a hand when you can. Speak your desires into existence, let go of what can't be controlled. It's not fathomable how far you'll go when you manifest your dreams.
